STARBURST Film Festival Manchester 26th-28th August 2016

STARBURST Festival Sunday

sunday

The STARBURST Film Festival runs over 3 days across the August bank holiday and is held in the MMU Student Union building in Manchester.

Day tickets are just £25.50 and can be purchased by clicking the tickets link above. If you want to get a full weekend pass then it is just £75.00!

The festival will be a ‘comic-con’ style event with exclusive presentations, specials guests, movie screenings, questions and answers session, celebrity ‘meet & greets’ plus any other events to deliver a full on weekend of sci-fi and horror entertainment.

There will be screenings of several new films, both shorts and full-length features, from new filmmakers, all of who are competing to win a converted STARBURST Award. This is a great opportunity to see some of the best films being made by the next generation of movie makers.

The festival has 5 main theatre spaces to present guest and big screen movie screenings. The main auditorium seats 600 and a special 200 seat cinema plus other more intimate screening spaces.

Further entertainment in the form of table top gaming, interactive spaceship command, on a purpose built bridge, comedy and some very special theatre shows will be happening in the evenings with the whole day rounded off with live music and disco until 2am.
