Day Tickets are now available at £25.50 and 'Full Weekend Passes' for only £75 each per person.
There is also the opportunity to book on-site accommodation for the 3 nights for only £129.00 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) or the combined early bird ticket at £204.00
The accomodation is modern single occupancy rooms across the road from the MMU Student Building. You can read more about this great venue by clicking here.
The 'Family Day Passes', at £45 each, are valid on Saturday 27th August from 10am until 4pm and give access for 2 adults and 2 children, with further child tickets for just £5.00. You can see the initial programme of Family Day events by clicking here.
Tickets available to purchase through our official ticketing partner Fatsoma. Tickets are delivered electronicly and will be exchanged for the relevant wristband when you arrive (there is a small booking fee of 8% on all tickets).

Festival Day Tickets - Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Tickets are one ticket per person
The Day Ticket allows access to the venue, sessions and screenings* on the specified day.

Festival Pass and Festival Pass with Accommodation
Tickets are one ticket per person
The Weekend Pass allows access to the venue, sessions and screenings* from the Friday opening until the close on Sunday night
Full Weekend pass are available with added 3 night single occupancy on-site accommodation and are available to people of 18 years and older*
Young Persons Day Pass (Saturday and Sunday)
Permits access to the Festival from 10AM until 7.30PM, on the day the ticket states only
Available to Young People aged between 14 years and 17 years old*
Family Day Passes - Saturday 27th August
Valid for 2 adults and 2 Children (children should no older than 16 years)
Please be aware that certain screenings might be PG or have a BBFC age restriction*
Family Day Children’s Ticket
Valid only with a Full Family Pass for accompanied Children up to age 16 years old*
Ticket Terms and Conditions
There are limited discounted Early Bird Passes and single occupancy accommodation available on-site for people aged 18 years and older.
E-ticket’s can be exchanged for the relevant pass or ticket from midday on Friday in the foyer of the venue; The Union, 21 Higher Cambridge Street, Manchester M15 6AD
* You will need photographic ID as proof of age, if challenged, when collecting your weekend passes, tickets, accommodation services or entry to BBFC certificated screenings. Check the BBFC website for more information about classifications - Visit the BBFC website
All Starburst film festival tickets are non refundable and non transferable.
The Very Small Print:
We reserve the right to refuse entry into any area of the festival or its screenings. Please remember to bring all e-tickets with you to the event. If you do not have your e-tickets you will not be admitted. Tickets are only valid on date or dates stated. Schedule is subject to change.
