Peter, was managing director of Fox UK Productions and later EMI Films.  As a  Producer, Executive Producer, 2nd Unit Director, Assistant Director he has worked hands-on with so many huge names over the years on a vast variety of genre projects. By the way he's the one stood next to Harrison Ford in the photograph taken on the Star Wars set.

From the legendary Lawrence of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago, to working on the much-loved The House That Dripped Blood, which starred Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing and Jon Pertwee, to A Touch of Class, for which Glenda Jackson won an Oscar, to the acclaimed The Aryan Couple, Peter is somebody who has been there and done it over the decades.

Elsewhere, though, he has been involved in some of the biggest movies of all time while serving as the Managing Director of 20th Century Fox U UK Productions London arm before then going on to take on the same role at EMI.

During these years, Beale was tasked with the production of such iconic films as Star Wars (or A New Hope to you younger folk), The Omen, Alien, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and The Elephant Man. He also had a key role to play in the European merchandising side of Star Wars where George Lucas’ jaunt to a galaxy far, far away was concerned.

Whether it’s horror, sci-fi, comedy, drama, low and high budget movies, Peter Beale is someone who has been there and seen it all, so join us as we welcome him to our gathering of likeminded sorts and look to probe his mind for stories of yesteryear.
